Politicians Will Kill The Taxi Industry

How can I expose the politicians who supported huge foreign companies like UBER or GRAB?

How do I explained to the gullible Malaysian that foreign companies are taking jobs and money from our hard working citizens?

How do I tell people that many countries have banned services like UBER in favor of traditional taxi.

This is my brief explanation. I've written 3 postings before.

There are 70,000 taxi drivers. Million rides daily. Few hundreds complaints I read so far.

A simple example.

Before UBER and GRAB.
A taxi driver get RM10/ride.

After UBER and GRAB.
A taxi driver get RM8 /ride
UBER or GRAB gets RM2 /ride without doing all the hard work.

ONE ride by all 70,000 drivers.
A taxi driver still get RM8 /ride.
UBER or GRAB get 70,000xRM2 = RM140,000 without doing all the hard work.

With that amount of money including billions of dollars in investment money, UBER and GRAB can pay media or hire PRs, flak and spin doctors to promote their "good" services.

We saw how they started their taxi business illegally.

Yes. illegally without getting any punishment of the law whatsoever.

Only after they made tons of money and violent protests by taxi drivers, the government legalized UBER and GRAB.

Are UBER and GRAB good for us? Not to the drivers. Not to the consumers in a long run.

Look. They took all of our money in the industry to their country. Billions of dollars every year.

UBER and GRAB can suspend and terminate any driver at any time for whatever reasons. Just asked those who got suspended.

They don't care about the driver's future or any social safety net.

You can't drive or sick? Sorry, no money for you.

Your car has problem or accident? Sorry, pay yourself. No money meanwhile.

You or your car getting old? Sorry and goodbye.

Besides, they have the exclusive right to choose which driver get the job.

Any rules, terms and conditions can be change at any time without notice.

What stop them from charging you high fares? Nothing. They can change the price in seconds.

Now you know.

Just because you are not a taxi driver, doesn't mean you should ignore the problem and discrimination.

Everyday, 70,000 families are waiting for their parent to come home and food on the table.

Have some empathy. Your job might be next.

The solution is so simple and yet our politicians have no political will to do it. Instead fulfilling their promise the voters, they openly support a foreign company!

Money talks. Yeah. Even in so-called Malaysia Baru.

Kalau masih tidak insaf, jangan komplen bila syarikat asing mula caj mahal atau tiada lagi orang hendak bawa teksi.
